Refund & Cancellation Guidelines
Refund Policy
✅ Before Treatment Begins: No charges before a ChatRx physician reviews your case.
❌ After Treatment Review Starts: No refunds once a ChatRx physician has started reviewing your case.
⚠ Technical Issues or Service Errors: Full refunds available if a system error prevents consultation.
❗ Denied Prescriptions: No refunds if a physician determines treatment is not medically appropriate.
Processing Refund Requests
✔ Refunds processed within 5-7 business days.
✔ Secure transactions via HIPAA-compliant payment processors (PayPal or Stripe).
✔ Contact trust@chatrx.md for all refund inquiries.
Cancel Your ChatRx Account
How to Cancel Your Account
🛑 Account cancellations are permanent and cannot be undone.
🚫 You will lose access to past consultations, prescriptions, and stored medical records.
💡 Active consultations must be completed before account closure.
📅 Subscription users must cancel separately before deleting their account to avoid further charges.
Steps to Cancel Your Account
1️⃣ Log into your ChatRx Account.
2️⃣ Go to Account Settings > Manage Account > Delete My Account.
3️⃣ Review cancellation impact and confirm request.
4️⃣ Enter your password for verification and click Confirm Cancellation.
5️⃣ Receive a confirmation email once your account is deactivated.

Data Retention & Security
🔒 ChatRx retains medical records per healthcare regulations.
🔐 Your personal data remains HIPAA-compliant and secure.
Subscription & Membership Cancellation
- 🕒 Cancel before the next billing cycle to avoid future charges.
- ❌ No prorated refunds for partial months.
- ✅ Retain access to ChatRx until the end of the billing cycle.
Refunds for Canceled Accounts
💰 One-Time Consultations: No refunds after consultation is completed.
🔄 Subscription Users: Cancel separately before deleting the account to prevent future charges.
⚠ Billing Issues? Submit refund requests within 7 days to support@chatrx.net.
Reactivate a Closed Account
❌ Once an account is deleted, it cannot be recovered.
✅ To use ChatRx again, simply create a new account.
